Ahí viene la ola es mucho más que un paisaje: es una escena viva, pintada a mano por GilÁvalos en un encantador estilo naïf que abraza lo cotidiano con ternura y humor.

En esta obra, el mar no solo se agita, también avisa, baila, se acerca. Las casas coloridas se acomodan como piezas de un rompecabezas que solo la memoria del pueblo podría resolver; los caminos se enredan entre selva, río y montaña como si quisieran contar secretos. Cada trazo espontáneo y cada color vibrante narran la historia de un pueblo que vive entre el asombro y la costumbre, donde la ola es metáfora de cambio, continuidad y quizás, una travesura del destino.

Esta panorámica es un homenaje visual a la belleza resiliente de lo simple, a esa armonía que florece donde el mar se encuentra con la tierra… y alguien decide quedarse a mirar.

When we were in Bucerias we were looking for some beautiful art by a local artist to add to our collection. We found the gallery and met Beatriz and instantly knew that her art was exactly what we were looking for. She was so friendly, passionate about her work and warm. She had so many amazing pieces on display. I instantly fell in love with this painting (Abstracto Azul No 2) and bought it on the spot. We also bought 2 of her smaller pieces for our young daughters to start their own art collection. Beatriz prepared the canvas for us to take home on the airplane, in a beautifully decorated tube and even brought it to our hotel. I am so in love with this painting and am honoured to have it hanging in our home.

I’m a block away from the beach in Bucerias but lack one thing…a direct ocean view. Today I found it with a beautiful piece of art and my ocean view from Galeria de Arte Bucerias. They are amazing to work with and I’ll be coming back for more art!

We met Beatriz at the gallery on our way to Bucerías. We were enchanted by her and her work. I noticed a kid hanging around and struck up conversation, thinking it was her child. It turns out he is one of the many street kids that hangs around during the day, and Beatriz gives them safe place to spend time, take art lessons and just have fun. I made a bargain with him that if he finished the painting he was working on we would purchase it the following day. We did that and paid Daniel for the painting, paid a commission to Beatriz, made two good friends, and came away with a big smile.

Super helpful and extremely nice. A good selection of original art that will fill in your empty spaces. I enjoyed dealing with them and have a piece of mexico on our wall now. If you have a home here or simply want to take mexico home with you after your vacation then stop in. They have large and small pieces from various artists.

Beatrice was very helpful when we were choosing a painting for our house in Conchas Chinas. She told us about the artist and helped us with our Spanish. We will return! I highly recommend this gallery.
