Biography
Rogelio Pérez was born in Acaponeta, Nayarit, in 1994, and from a very young age, he began his love of drawing and painting.
Since the age of 14, she has been actively participating in various cultural events, achieving important recognitions at such a young age. The following are noteworthy:
- UAN Zona Norte, for the creation of the mural “Love for my North,” held at the Northern Academic Unit of the State of Nayarit.
- Nayarit Cultural Festival in Acaponeta, 2019, for her participation in the creation of the mural "Our Roots."
- The Nayarit Women's Institute recognized her for her participation in "Orange Day" by painting the mural "A beautiful woman is one who fights" in 2020.
- 3rd place statewide in muralism, a competition organized by the Nayarit Welfare Secretariat. 2020.
- Represent Nayarit at the 3rd Regional Urban Art Meeting 2020, which took place in the metropolitan area of the State of Querétaro.
Through painting, Rogelio feels he can express everything that happens to him. His inspiration can be anything: experiences, feelings, dreams... Thus, he sees in a very personal and imaginative way. It is in these moments that his magic of creating and painting these fantasies emerges, giving him an inexplicable pleasure.
